Jeongsu Park, Yoong & Yang 100x90

Yoon & Yang has appointed Jeongsu Park to partner at its Seoul-based tax practice. Park served as a judge for more than 17 years.

Before joining the firm, Park presided over the Seoul Southern District Court and the Seoul Administrative Court, which handles more tax cases than any other court in South Korea. He also worked as a judicial researcher at the tax department of the Supreme Court.

Park brings a wealth of experience to the firm, especially in tax, customs and administrative litigation. He has handled landmark cases on notices of deficiency standards for tax penalties and the treatment of sales allowance for calculating VAT.

Yoon & Yang’s tax practice consists of 21 professionals, including lawyers, certified public accountants and a former National Tax Service (NTS) commissioner.
