Paul Aplin made ICAEW vice president

Paul Aplin

Paul Aplin has been elected vice president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) for 2016-2017.

Aplin is a tax partner from A C Mole and Sons in the south west of England. Having joined in 1980, he became the firm’s first tax partner in 1992.

After qualifying as an ICAEW chartered accountant in 1985, Aplin joined its tax faculty committee in 2001. He has served as the tax faculty committee chairman for the past 15 years and also chairs the technical committee.
