KPMG adds three UK tax partners

The firm has promoted two tax advisors to partner and recruited a third.

KPMG has made Mythrayi Manickarajah and Daniel Smith partners, and have also hired David Hewitt from Grant Thornton. All three will be based in London.

Manickarajah works primarily on the tax aspects of corporate transactions. She has a particular focus on infrastructure and renewable-energy transactions.

Smith, an indirect tax specialist, leads KPMG’s real-estate VAT unit.

Hewitt, who was head of M&A tax at Grant Thornton, will be tasked with developing KPMG’s M&A tax advisory business for large companies.
