We look at tax from every direction and provide full-scale advice — from policy to planning, from transactions to dispute resolution.

Baker McKenzie's Tax team is among the most highly rated and recommended tax advisers worldwide, top ranked by international tax directories in more jurisdictions than any other law firms. We understand the intricacies of tax laws and dispute resolution techniques, and can design and implement tax structures that consider all rules and variables in all jurisdictions.

Our team includes international legal experts as well as some of the best-known chartered accountants, economists and specialists in indirect taxes, employment and wealth. Our multi-disciplined practice of over 50 tax professionals is one of the largest in the City and we have helped many of the world's leading corporate names think about their tax issues differently and have resolved many of the most complex and high-profile tax disputes. In addition our advice is legally privileged and its disclosure cannot be compelled by tax authorities.

We are at the forefront of tax developments worldwide and help our clients anticipate and adapt to new rules that may impact existing or new structures. We help them fulfil domestic and international tax compliance obligations through advice as they pursue opportunities worldwide.

We are ranked Tier 1 for the UK in both the International Tax Review’s (ITR) World Tax Guide and the ITR World Transfer Pricing Guide.
