Global Tax 50 2014: OECD printing facilities

 OECD printing facilities

OECD printing facilities is a new entry this year

This is a joint entry for the printing facilities at the OECD and the rainforests around the world that have made it possible for the organisation to produce the sheer volume of discussion drafts, policy papers and so on that have emerged from its Paris headquarters over the course of the year. "Haha, well we are trying to move away from printing, which is why we are doing the webcasts and trying to put everything on the web," laughs Pascal Saint-Amans, director of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration and Global Tax 50 2014 top 10 member. "But it's true that I have a secretary general who loves handing over paper. So, yes, we are printing a lot!"

The number of documents emerging from the OECD this past year is testament to the wide scope of the CTPA's stakeholder view-gathering efforts. More than 1,500 pages of comments were submitted in response to just the transfer pricing-specific action items of the BEPS project, all of which are feeding into final documents and recommendations. It is safe to say the printers will continue to whir throughout 2015.
