Dominique Gallego joins Sidley Austin as partner

Dominique Gallego has joined Sidley Austin’s tax practice at their New York offices as a partner, moving from EY.

Gallego’s experience includes advising in the asset management and structured finance sectors. She has worked with hedge funds, private equity funds and other investment vehicles on investment strategies and cross-border issues.

Gallego has assisted companies in assessing permanent establishment risk in various jurisdictions, evaluating the application of income tax treaties and assessing the impact of the OECD’s BEPS Project and similar local initiatives.
