The team is the only tax department within a law firm in Peru which can provide international tax planning and transfer pricing services, due to their Baker & McKenzie relationship. Additionally, they advise on tax planning for foreign and local clients in corporate transactions and M&A operations. The firm also houses a tax litigation group.

During the research period, Estudio Echecopar has been active in transactional matters. The firm assisted Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios S.A with the tax structuring for their purchase of Enfoca Servicios Logisiticos S.A. The firm analyzed tax implications and came up with a cost efficient tax structure for the sale of $163.5 million in shares to Talma.
