The real estate, M&A, financial transactions, transfer pricing, litigation, and VAT practises of Ashurst are well-known in Italy. The tax team works with a variety of clients, including Italian and foreign banks, investment firms, and insurance companies. Michele Milanese, a partner, is a central member of the team.

During the research period, the team served as the tax and legal advisor for structuring the transaction carried out by EnergeaLBO, the infrastructure team of LBO France, and connected with the launch on the Italian market of the VITA Superbonus programme. As a lender in the deal, Intesa Sanpaolo was also given advice by the Ashurst team.
