Giordano, pictured right, who is in the Washington, DC office, advises public and private - US and foreign - companies on a wide range of US domestic and international tax matters, including taxable and tax-free M&A, complex cross-border transactions, the formation of investment funds, and issuances of equity, debt, and hybrid securities. He has acquired extensive experience with the US tax withholding and information reporting requirements that apply to cross-border payments.

Giordano also represents real estate and specialty finance companies (including public and private REITs) in connection with structuring transactions as well as with general tax planning and compliance, for example, on the tax implications of the formation of UPREITs.
