Colin is a partner of PwC Hong Kong. He was brought up in Nigeria, and has 35 years of professional experience in Hong Kong and London, with the last 22 being in Hong Kong. He has been named, for the fourth time in succession, as one of the pre-eminent tax practitioners in Asia by ITR's Guide to the World's Leading Tax Advisers. Colin is similarly recognised, for the second time in succession, as a leading tax dispute resolution expert in Hong Kong by ITR's Tax Controversy Leaders guide (having previously been recognised by ITR as "among the firm's leading lights for tax controversy in Asia"). Colin has also been twice recognised as one of the expert transfer pricing practitioners in Hong Kong by the Guide to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers.

In Hong Kong, Colin services both local and regional clients, who range from individuals to the major MNCs. He regularly acts as general global/regional tax coordinator for a number of these, and as global/regional coordinator for major due diligences. He has also headed the Hong Kong transfer pricing team.

Colin's work experience has included secondments to government and to commerce, significant deal experience, leading significant system design and implementation projects in cross-territory (on time and on budget while delivering all agreed outputs) and other formal major change management leadership responsibilities. Consequently, he is able to bring an unusually wide perspective, commercial as well as technical and policy, to his clients.

In addition to the above, Colin successfully set up and headed our business process outsourcing group in Hong Kong, and has spent time in our global human resources services group.

Colin has an MA in economics from Cambridge University, and is a fellow of the HKICPA, ICAEW and TIHK. He is a certified tax adviser, a successful external author, and an international tax examiner. Outside the work area, he is currently the Legislative Council accountancy functional constituency member's representative on the Joint Liaison Committee on Taxation, a twice-appointed member of the HKSARG's Public Affairs Forum, and a Board of Advisers member of International Care Ministries.
