Submissions open for the ITR Americas Tax Awards 2020

Submissions for the ITR Americas Tax Awards 2020 is open

Companies, firms and individuals can now enter for the ITR Americas Tax Awards 2020.

The awards recognise the leading tax and transfer pricing firms in North, Central and South America, as well as leading firms in six US metropolitan areas. Following on from the success of the 2019 event, we have added new categories covering the Caribbean and Paraguay as well as a new in-house award for tax technology.

Submission forms and participation guidelines can be found below. Criteria and eligibility can be found in the methodology for the Americas Tax Awards.

The closing date for submissions is Monday, June 22 2020. The shortlist will be published online on August 13 2020.

Award winners will be revealed through ITR's online platforms during the fourth week of September 2020.

Submission guidelines

Please see all information on jurisdictions, categories and methodology here. All submissions should be uploaded to the portal:

The ITR Americas Tax Awards submissions portal

Please note, ongoing cases are not eligible. Cases must have been concluded between March 1 2019 to April 1 2020. All information is confidential and viewed by the ITR team only. No data is published.

ITR takes into consideration four metrics for cited matters: value of the matter, complexity, overall innovation undertaken by the tax practice, and the matter's impact on the client and wider tax landscape.

To ensure the awards reflect the market as accurately as possible, this year, we have included an optional nomination section on each form so that firms can nominate local firms, individuals, cases and deals. This assists the judges in their decision-making.

National awards

For the national award categories, ITR will take into consideration all submissions made for the World Tax 2020/21 and World Transfer Pricing 2020/21 rankings. If your firm did not submit to the rankings research process or would like to provide supplementary information, please use the submission forms.
