Deloitte Cambodia offers tax and consulting services for investments from multinational corporations in various sectors. Its Chinese Service Group consists of Chinese-speaking advisers to focus on serving Chinese clients. It also works closely with Deloitte’s network of member firms to support projects from Japanese and Korean clients. Partner Kimsroy Chhiv and director Vuthy Sreng are the key professionals in the team.

Details of the firm’s work and clients remain confidential.

DFDL is a leading advisory firm based in Cambodia, offering comprehensive tax, customs, and accounting advisory and compliance services. As part of DFDL’s extensive regional network spanning Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh, and the Philippines, the firm supports businesses operating both locally and across Southeast Asia. Clint O’Connell leads the Cambodia Tax and Customs Practice, bringing strong expertise in advisory, disputes, due diligence, and transfer pricing.

During the research period, the team acted as local counsel for the clients in Taiwan’s Bank Sinopac Company Limited’s acquisition of Amret MFI, a transaction valued at approximately US$550 million. The team provided legal and tax advisory throughout this landmark cross-border M&A transaction.

In 2024, DFDL expands transfer pricing services by integrating IC Advisors, enhancing regional capabilities across Southeast and South Asia.

VDB Loi Cambodia is part of a network of law and tax advisory firms with offices in Bangladesh Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. The local team led by partner Sivila Khim includes more than 30 professionals focusing on different areas including transfer pricing, tax compliance, due diligence, tax advisory and disputes. It has a dedicated tax disputes team to handle controversy matters.

One case study showed that the team assisted the client in a restructuring project as the main tax advisor. The project involved a point of sales system developed by the client, which is not a financial institution, for its Cambodian-authorised dealers.
