PwC US announces trio of hires

PwC US has announced the appointments of three tax partners. Two step up in New York, while Byron Lambert joins the firm in Atlanta.

Lambert joins the firm’s international tax services practice, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in international tax. During that time Lambert has advised private equity portfolio clients, as well as public and private companies in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, professional services, consumer products and paper industries.

He rejoins PwC from BDO, having worked for five years before that with PwC in Milwaukee.

Kara Friedenberg joins as a tax partner in the New York investment management practice. She moves from fellow big four firm KPMG, where she focussed on providing tax consulting and compliance services to hedge funds, private equity funds and investment advisers.

Ed Repking also joins as a tax partner, based in the Stamford, Connecticut office. Before this move, Repking worked for KPMG as a partner, serving clients in the financial services, media, airline, and pharmaceutical industries. He is well-versed in assisting clients with their tax accounting and in structuring tax-efficient operations and transactions, including cross-border acquisitions.
