The Legal Benchmark Group is delighted to unveil the winners of the 2025 Social Impact EMEA Awards.

Although this year did not include an in-person gathering, firms, legal professionals, and impact leaders across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are being recognised in honour of their outstanding achievements and initiatives shaping a more equitable and sustainable industry.

The takeaway from this year’s winners is clear: the legal community’s commitment to driving meaningful social change has never been stronger. From groundbreaking pro bono initiatives, to transformative inclusion programmes and climate-focused advocacy, the winners demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and measurable impact.


Celebrating exceptional impact across the region

Across all categories, there was a significant rise in submissions showcasing long-term, community-grounded projects and ambitious firm-wide commitments. Key themes that emerged from the 2025 honourees included:

  • Scaling access to justice through new digital pathways and cross-sector partnerships

  • Embedding DEI at every organisational level, with a focus on retention and leadership opportunities for underrepresented talent

  • Driving climate and environmental justice through litigation, advisory support, and green-policy innovation

  • Supporting vulnerable communities, with projects addressing refugee rights, women’s empowerment, youth education, and disability inclusion.
