Alexander With is the Deloitte Norway head of indirect taxes. The indirect tax team is comprised of more than 30 people dedicated mainly to indirect tax.

Alexander serves several of the largest Norwegian companies with indirect tax matters, both with domestic and international matters.

Alexander studied law at the University of Oslo where he graduated in 1999. He is a lawyer and was admitted to the bar in 2001. Before joining Deloitte Norway in April 2010, he was head of tax at the law firm of Advokatfirmaet Selmer.

Though assisting in all indirect taxes, Alexander is particularly strong in VAT advisory for large companies/groups of companies, international structuring, financial sector, Customs and real estate.

Alexander is often invited to speak as a lecturer on VAT matters, for instance on commission for the Tax authorities, the Legal Practitioners' Educational Centre and the Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants. He has published several books and articles within the field of indirect taxes.
