Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton hires Heather Preston

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has added Heather Preston as a corporate tax partner in its Atlanta office.

Preston’s practice covers the federal income tax aspects of domestic and cross- border joint ventures and strategic alliances, domestic and cross-border M&A and fund formation. Her clients include real estate investment trusts in connection with their formation, and acquisitions and divestitures, and sponsors in connection with the formation of real estate funds. She also advises clients on the legal and tax issues associated with executive deferred compensation plans for both taxable and tax exempt entities and executive incentive and stock-based compensation plans.

She was formerly with Arnall Golden Gregory.
