Norton Rose Fulbright gains two new partners in Houston

Two tax lawyers have become partners of Norton Rose Fulbright in the firm's Houston office.

Rob Morris (left) advises clients in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining and commodities, transport, and life sciences and healthcare, on all aspects of tax controversies; during examinations, in administrative appeals, and in litigation. He also represents clients before the US Competent Authority and has handled matters involving allegations of tax fraud and potential criminal tax charges.


And Ron Scharnberg's practice focuses on advising clients in the key industry sectors of energy, financial

institutions, and infrastructure, mining and commodities on a wide range of tax matters, with particular emphasis on the federal tax planning and structuring of domestic and international M&A, tax-free reorganisations, spin-offs and divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, financial instruments, and financing transactions. He also advises on the tax aspects of equity and debt offerings, as well as the formation and operation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and certain tax controversy matters.
