Taylor Wessing adds two partners to Paris office

Former head of tax at law firm Schönherr in Austria Michaela Petritz-Klar, and former PwC Société d’Avocats managing partner for France and Francophone Africa Michael Jaffe have joined Taylor Wessing.

The pair, who will work in the firm’s Paris office, are strong hires for the firm. Petritz-Klar has a very good reputation in Austria from her time at Schönherr, and will work as Central and Eastern Europe head of tax. She specialises in M&A transactions, private equity, capital markets, restructurings, corporate tax planning, project finance, high net worth individuals and funds.

Jaffe has more than 30 years of experience advising companies on matters including international tax, compensation and benefits issues, remuneration packages and international mobility. He is a member of the Paris, New York and California bars.
