Baker McKenzie promotes Robert Moore to managing partner

Baker McKenzie has promoted Robert Moore to managing partner in its Miami office, after a 13-year long career with the firm.

Moore specialises in international tax planning for multinationals, global reorganisations and M&A. He also focuses on supply chain management, and tax planning for foreign investment in the US real estate market.

In addition, Moore has extensive experience representing professional athletes, sports agents, and athletic apparel companies in all aspects of international tax planning and tax controversy.

Moore was chair of the office’s pro bono committee from 2010 to 2015, and he is well-known for his pro bono work including child advocacy, homeless youth, and juvenile immigrant initiatives.

Furthermore, Moore is a member of the North America tax practice group’s (NATPG) tax planning and transactions steering committee, the editorial board of the NATPG’s tax news and developments bi-monthly newsletter, and the best practices committee.
