Villemot, Barthès & Associés joins WTS Global

French boutique law firm, Villemot, Barthès & Associés (VB&A), has joined WTS Global as a member firm, expanding the international tax network’s presence in France. At the same time Jean-Laurent Anglade is joining as a partner in the corporate tax advisory practice at WTS France.

VB&A is widely acknowledged for international tax, tax restructurings, tax rulings and lobbying, transfer pricing, following up tax audits, negotiations with the tax authorities and tax litigation for high profile clients. It was founded in 1999 by Dominique Villemot after he left PwC, where he was heading the consumer and industrial products division. Villemot has considerable experience, a creative agility and strong relationships, not only in the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGFIP) – the French internal revenue service – but also in the tax departments and C-suites of French multinational companies. The firm is widely acknowledged for international tax, tax restructurings, tax rulings and lobbying, transfer pricing, following up tax audits, negotiations with the tax authorities and tax litigation for high profile clients. Alongside Villemot, the VB&A tax team includes three further tax partners.

In addition, Anglade has joined the tax team at WTS France as of March 1 2018.

He has almost 20 years of professional experience in tax consulting for multinational companies. Anglade, who started his career with Arthur Andersen and EY, comes from Mazars in Paris where he worked as partner in corporate, M&A and international tax consulting. At WTS France, he will lead the tax team and continue to forge ahead with its expansion.
