As global tax leader, Barton will lead the EY tax executive committee and become a member of the EY global executive, which is focused on the ‘Vision 2020’ strategy. Barton brings a great deal of expertise to this role with extensive knowledge of international tax.
Barton has been a partner at EY since 1996 and rose to managing partner at the New England tax practice by 2001. In 2009, Barton was promoted to Americas vice chair, overseeing EY’s regional strategy and more than 13,000 tax professionals, as well as Israel.
