Taxand appoints Alain Recoules as new global indirect tax leader

Alain Recoules has been appointed Taxand’s new global indirect tax leader, in succession to Richard Baxter. Recoules is based in France, where he is a partner of Arsene Taxand and a specialist in VAT and international trade regulations.

He has extensive experience advising companies in a range of sectors inducing: retail, leisure, computer services, banking and fund management. He is also a member of the French-American Chamber and director of the Institute for Fiscal Policy.
