Iwona Georgijew holds the position of partner and manages Deloitte Poland's transfer pricing team, as well as the regional transfer pricing group for Central and Eastern Europe. She is a member of the Global Transfer Pricing Controversy Council and member of Deloitte's EMEA TP leadership.

During her professional career of more than 20 years, she has gained significant experience and become a leading Polish specialist in transfer pricing. She has experience managing project teams covering the full cycle of restructuring projects including transfer pricing, international tax, legal and accounting.

In 2006, Iwona negotiated the first cross-border APA in Poland. She leads Deloitte Poland's team, which has 40% market share of all APAs negotiated in Poland.

She is also actively involved in transfer pricing disputes resolution, litigation work and standing before courts.

Iwona is a member of the International Fiscal Association. She is also a private-sector member of the European Union Joint Transfer Pricing Forum, being the only adviser from Central and Eastern Europe holding this role. She is also a member of the Tax Consultancy Board advising the Minister of Finance of Poland.

She has authored numerous tax advisory publications for professional magazines and lectured at many tax conferences and courses.

Iwona has been a featured advisor in the Guide to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers, published by Euromoney as well as in Expert Guides' Women in Business Law chapter. The transfer pricing team led by Iwona won the 2014 ITR award for Poland Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year.
