BMR & Associates adds three partners

Indian tax firm BMR & Associates has added Jayashree Parthasarathy, Prashanth Bhat and Sharath Rao to its list of partners.

Parthasarathy has more than 13 years’ experience and is an indirect tax specialist, who focuses on IT, e-commerce and manufacturing. She also covers litigation and assists her Indian and international clients with compliance. Before joining BMR, she worked for two Big 4 firms.

Bhat, who is based in Bangalore, is another from the indirect tax practice. He has 11 years of experience advising large international and domestic companies, in the real estate, e-commerce, infrastructure and education sectors, in particular.

He is particularly skilled in designing and implementing indirect tax optimisation structures, contract work and litigation support.

Rao also works for the Bangalore indirect tax practice, and has gained experience in corporate tax and transfer pricing, as well as exchange controls, corporate law and transaction advisory, in his 10-year career.
