Andersen Tax continues Middle East expansion

Andersen Global has announced a new collaboration agreement with Lebanese firm Alem & Associates. The Beirut-based practice has a reach which extends across the Middle East with offices in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Founded in 1953, Alem & Associates is led by senior partner Mohamed Alem. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial work in areas including financial structuring and telecommunications. The firm offers advice on corporate law, tax, M&A deals, capital markets and intellectual property (IP) rights, drawing clients from a wide range of sectors such as real estate, banking, aviation, social security and energy.

Alem & Associates has three offices. The biggest practice is in Beirut, with 40 professionals, and there are 10 practitioners each in Dubai and Riyadh. Partner Omar El Assir oversees the Saudi office, while Jade Al Araoui manages the Dubai group.
