Vertex, a US-headquartered tax automation solutions provider, has further expanded its presence in Europe with new offices in Amsterdam and Frankfurt. It has also appointed former USA VP of taxes at Nestle, Michael Davis, as chief adviser and tax strategist.

Amsterdam and Frankfurt are two of the largest technology markets in Europe. Vertex expects that these new offices in these two cities will allow it to better serve its clients and partners across the globe.

In addition, Michael Davis has joined the US team. Davis, who was at Nestle for 30 years, will bring his extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, audit controversy, provision and operations, and tax data management to Vertex.
