Holland & Knight takes Sharp Partners lawyers

Bill Sharp

US law firm Holland & Knight has enticed several partners and other professionals from Tampa-based Sharp Partners to join its Florida, New York and Washington DC offices.

The new recruits include founder and international tax attorney William Sharp and partners Andrea Darling de Cortés and Robert Lorndale.

Darling de Cortés brings with her Alexander Olama and Chad Vanderhof, associates from Sharp’s Tampa office. Making the move with Washington DC-based Lorndale is Alan Granwell, of counsel, while Consulting Counsel Robert Katzberg is joining the New York office.

During their time at Sharp, the group of individuals garnered a reputation of excellence on tax planning, controversy and compliance. They work on behalf of clients in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

In addition, James Cottrell, who most recently worked for Deloitte as global chief ethics officer, will be joining as director of ancillary services.
