Ralf is a tax partner with Deloitte based in Tokyo, where he works across international tax and transfer pricing for multinational and Japanese clients on a global basis, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region. He is part of Deloitte’s global transfer pricing leadership team as the financial services industry lead, and part of Deloitte’s global financial services tax and legal leadership team.
Ralf has an extensive track record of more than 22 years’ experience across international tax, transfer pricing, financial analysis and valuations, tax controversy, and value chain alignment. During his tenures in Japan, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Germany, Ralf worked for clients across the financial services, technology, consumer, life sciences, and industrial sectors.
He has been continuously voted into Euromoney/Legal Media Group’s guides to the world’s leading tax and transfer pricing advisers (link). Ralf holds an MBA/master’s in economics from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan and has studied at the Wharton Business School in Philadelphia and the International University of Japan.
