Transfer pricing is the firm’s founding practice. The team, led by Big 4 alumni, works across the full lifecycle — policy design and benchmarking, proceedings before the Transfer Pricing Officer (TPO) and Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP), litigation support before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP). SBC’s leadership has represented more than 50 appeals before the Hyderabad ITAT and over 100 CIT(A) and DRP matters.
With the Income-tax Act, 2025 in force from 1 April 2026, SBC is moving clients’ transfer pricing documentation, forms and positions to the new law, while the final assessment cycles under the Income-tax Act, 1961 run their course.
