Francisco Díaz

Partner, transfer pricing Deloitte S-LATAM

Francisco has been with Deloitte for more than 16 years in the global transfer pricing practice and has earned valuable tax and transfer pricing experience in Mexico across a variety of industries, with particular expertise in the manufacturing sector.

His main areas of expertise include Mexican transfer pricing study documentation to prevent double taxation and permanent establishment status for maquiladoras and non-maquiladoras; advance pricing agreements; maquiladora issues such as compliance options, preliminary analysis, and planning memos to benchmark a company’s profitability; non-maquila analysis; support in the restructuring process in the case of companies engaged in transactions with foreign related parties; and BEPS.

Francisco has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, a master’s degree in economics with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a postgraduate certification in human development from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Francisco is a DE&I advocate and is part of the faculty for both technical and soft-skill programs at Deloitte University D. Líderes, flagship leadership and learning center in Deloitte S-LATAM.
