Dennitsa Dimitrova

Dennitsa has over 18 years of experience in the area of international taxation. Prior to leading Kambourov & Partners' tax consulting practice, she was part of the tax and legal teams of TMF (2006–09), KPMG (2009–16), and Deloitte (2016–19).

Dennitsa's work experience includes being part of the legal team of the Bulgarian Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) case C-124/12 (AES-3C Maritza East 1), and being the leading attorney in the CJEU cases С-257/20 (Viva Telecom Bulgaria) and C-733/22 (Valentina Heights). She also specialises in taxation of the telecommunications, energy, and commodity sector, and in the past several years, she has been providing consulting services on the offshore oil and gas drilling campaigns in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Dennitsa is a regular speaker of the Balkan and Black Sea Petroleum Association on the taxation of the EEZ in the Black Sea region and energy projects in offshore zones.
