Heather Self joins Blick Rothenberg

Accounting, tax and advisory practice Blick Rothenberg has appointed Heather Self as a corporate tax partner in London.

Self has more than 30 years of experience in tax, and has for the past five years worked as a tax partner (non-lawyer) at Pinsent Masons. Her experience also includes working for HMRC as an anti-avoidance adviser, and as a group taxation director for FTSE 100-company Scottish Power.  For Blick Rothenberg, Self will cover transfer pricing issues and apply her expertise in corporate tax strategy, dispute resolution, M&A, controlled foreign corporations, risk management and taxation of the energy sector.

She has an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Self was named in International Tax Review’s Global Tax 50 2016 and 2017 for her efforts related to the Women in Tax network. She is also a regular speaker and writer on tax matters.
