Mayer Brown expands New York tax team to strengthen SALT group

Leah Robinson

A three-lawyer team led by partner Leah Samit Robinson has joined Mayer Brown in New York. The new team will expand the firm’s state & local tax (SALT) group.

Leah Robinson and Counsel Amy Nogid joined Mayer Brown after working for Eversheds Sutherland LLP in New York. The third person in the team is an associate. The expansion of the tax team will strengthen Mayer Brown’s capacities in state and local tax.

Since 2008, Leah Robinson has hosted the New York state tax ladies lunch group, a networking group for women focusing on SALT matters that meets 10 times a year. The women’s group will continue to meet at Mayer Brown’s office in New York.
