Tax Court of Canada rules that LLC gets treaty benefits
The Tax Court of Canada has ruled that a US limited liability company (LLC) is a resident of the US and is eligible for treaty benefits under the Canada-United States Income Tax Convention, if that LLC is subject to tax in the US.
