Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez has appointed Laura Frias as counsel in its Mexico City office as it launches new transfer pricing speciality.

Frias’s areas of specialism include planning, policy setting, advanced pricing agreements, transfer pricing compliance and identifying risks in M&A transactions. News of her appointment came as the firm unveiled its plans to launch a new transfer pricing speciality.

Frias is widely recognised as a leading TP expert within the industry, thus her appointment will greatly strengthen the firm’s TP practice. Before joining the firm, Frias headed transfer pricing for General Electric in Mexico (and other Latin American regions) for more than 10 years. Moreover, she sits on the International Fiscal Association Transfer Pricing Committee as a sub-coordinator.
