Category updates

During each research cycle we hear back from firms about roles, work, and practice areas that they would like to see included in the awards to recognise the accomplishments of the leading women from their firm. After two years of discussing with firms the Women in Business Law Awards has adopted two new awards to recognise leading women attorneys.

Thought Leader of the Year

This category will award individuals in each region that have taken up a strong and clear leading position in engaging with Thought Leadership activities throughout the research period. These activities include being published, being a speaker or panelist at industry conferences, or running webinars.

ESG Leader of the Year

This category will award individuals in each region that have engaged in supporting and promoting ESG related initiatives and activities within and external to the firm.
