The Women in Business Law Awards is excited to present the shortlist for the first Global Awards

The Women in Business Law Awards has released the full list of finalists for the Global Awards 2022.

The Awards recognise the leading women in-house lawyers globally and the law firms with the most impressive initiatives promoting diversity and women in law.

Winners will be announced on December 1 2022.

The Women in Business Law Awards research team selected each finalist after a thorough research process based on direct submissions.

General counsels and rising star lawyers are judged not only on the complexity of the work they accomplished in 2021, but also on their advocacy, influence, and thought leadership in relation to both the promotion of women in the practice of law and in championing positive developments within their specialisms.

Law firms are recognised across various categories, including for initiatives that advance gender diversity and for progressive work-life balance policies.

All the transactions, work and initiatives that underpin the awards had key milestones or completed during the review period: January 1 to December 31 2021. The Awards does not include in its evaluation include historical or uncompleted cases, deals, transactions or initiatives.

If you have any questions regarding our research process, please contact John Harrison

The Women in Business Law Awards will be announcing the winners on 1 December at the inaugural live awards gala. To find out more – and to find out about how you can promote your success – please contact Nick Heath.
