RSM adds new leader for growing European region

RSM, the world’s sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms, has appointed Gregor Schmidt as the firm’s new European regional leader.

Following the firm’s expansion into Bulgaria, as well as mergers in Germany, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Ireland and Great Britain, Schmidt will continue to drive the firm’s global strategy within the European region.

Before joining RSM, Schmidt was at RSM’s German member firm as chief operating officer in 2012 before becoming chief officer of strategy, markets and communications in 2016, where he played a key role in in the merger of RSM’s German firms.
