Chartered Institute of Taxation appoints new presidency

The Chartered Institute of Taxation, the UK professional body for taxation, has appointed Ray McCann to president, Glyn Fullelove to deputy president, and Peter Rayney to vice president.

Ray McCann is a partner at Joseph Hage Aaronson and has held roles at HMRC, Pinsent Masons and PwC, among others. He was previously the CIOT deputy president.

Glyn Fullelove is the group corporate services director at Informa. His experience includes roles at BSkyB, Balfour Beatty, Arthur Andersen and BP. He is also chairman of the Technical Committee of the CIOT.

Peter Rayney is an independent tax consultant, specialising in corporate tax, company reorganisations, corporate finance tax and owner-managed business taxation.
