EY veterans join Aptis Global

People move big

Dale Spiegel and John MacArthur have been hired by consultancy Aptis Global.

Aptis Global is an independent international consultancy launched by managing principal and founder Kathrine Kimball and principal Sofie Stas in April 2017.

International tax expert MacArthur joins Aptis Global as founding principal, while Spiegel now serves as the firm’s strategic adviser.

Previously, MacArthur was the leader of  EY’s global private equity tax sector, the Asia Pacific International Tax Services practice in Hong Kong, and the leader of the Pacific North West International Tax Practice.

Spiegel’s long career at EY focused on international tax planning for US and foreign-based multinational companies and their investors, and on foreign-related M&A.

The firm has offices in the US, Belgium and Mexico, and specialises in transfer pricing, value chain analysis and applied economics.
