Felipe Dominguez joined PwC in April 2006 and he is a senior associate at PwC in the Santiago tax and legal services practice. Felipe works in the tax controversy and dispute resolution department.

Felipe's main area of practice involves representing clients, including local and international corporations and individuals. He has experience in tax audit processes, administrative appeals, tax claims, taxpayers' rights violation procedures, real estate tax claims and transfer pricing tax claims before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, Tax and Customs Courts, and Chilean Appeals Court and Supreme Court.

Although Felipe joined PwC in April 2006, between January 2009 and November 2012, he worked as an associate at a prestigious law firm in Chile assisting and representing clients in the most diverse tax matters, including tax consulting, tax planning, tax audits and judicial tax claims.

Felipe is Bachelor of Law from the Universidad de Los Andes, and also holds a Degree in Management and Tax Planning at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also has written and co-published several articles regarding tax matters, such as The New Tax Justice in Chile, Discovery in Chile, and Transfer pricing tax claims under Chile's new tax justice law

Gonzalo Schmidt is a manager at PwC Chile, in the Santiago tax and legal services practice, and he is the manager in charge of the tax controversy and dispute resolution department.

Gonzalo joined PwC Chile in January 2007 and advises national and multinational corporations in their defence in tax audits and tax claim processes.

Between August 2010 and November 2012, Gonzalo worked in the Chilean Tax Administration (SII) in the tax litigation department of the national directorate, helping to implement and develop the fiscal defence in the new tax justice procedure for the whole country, whereby for the first time in the history of Chile, the tax courts are independent from the tax authorities.

Gonzalo has substantial experience in tax audit processes, administrative appeals, tax claims, taxpayers' rights violation procedures, real estate tax claims and transfer pricing tax claims before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, Tax and Customs Courts and Chilean Courts of Law.

Gonzalo has a bachelor of law degree from the Universidad de Los Andes and also holds a degree in management and tax planning at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has also participated as a lecturer in the specialisation programme on New Tax Justice and has written and co-authored several articles regarding tax matters such as The New Tax Justice in Chile, Discovery in Chile and Transfer pricing tax claims under Chile's new tax justice law.

Francisco holds a bachelor of law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and also holds a master's degree in management and tax planning at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Francisco is also doing a degree in accounting at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Francisco joined PwC Chile in 2011 and is a senior associate in the tax litigation team, collaborating in several tax defence processes. Previously, Francisco worked for five years in the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, at one of Santiago's regional director offices, gaining significant experience in tax assessment and tax claim matters.

Francisco also gives lectures in the tax programme at Universidad de Chile Business School, and he has written and published several articles regarding tax matters.
