Eric Roose joins Withers in Asia

Roose will be head of Withers' international corporate tax practice in Asia. Chizuko Tomita and Takeo Mizutani will moving with him from Morrison & Foerster to be part of the new team. Withers said it was setting up the practice because many of its family office and entrepreneurial clients also asked them to deal with the corporate tax aspects of their transactions too.

Roose is qualified to practise in the US, is certified by the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Practitioners and has worked in Asia for more than 15 years, including more than a decade with White & Case in Tokyo.
