Kenichi Takashima joins Withers while also continuing his role as the Japanese representative of the OECD’s Business and Industry Advisory Committee.

Kenichi, who has practised widely as an international tax advisor in East Asia as well as Europe, focuses on tax strategy and planning, cross-border transactional tax matters, and corporate restructuring.

He joins Withers from KPMG in Japan, where he was a tax partner. Kenichi’s arrival at the firm’s Tokyo office is in addition to the five partners and other lawyers who joined the bureau in October 2018.
