Starting from 2001, Michael has advised clients on taxation and business matters relating to the establishment of business entities in China, the on-going operation and restructuring of such business entities and the structuring of financing and equity vehicles to invest in businesses and projects in China. Taxation issues include corporate tax, individual tax, indirect taxes such as VAT, business tax, as well as customs duties.
In the past five years, Michael has led the tax technology team in KPMG China and offers tech-enabled solutions to drive the tax performance of enterprises. His recent project experience includes solution development, implementation and tax managed services.
