Marcel is a partner at MME Legal Tax Compliance, and is considered a leading lawyer in tax and private client matters in Switzerland. He is also a highly experienced tax litigator in Swiss and international tax cases in the Swiss courts up to the Supreme Court.

Marcel focuses on the following areas of expertise: advising wealthy families and entrepreneurs on international tax planning, relocation, structuring of assets and family businesses, asset protection, estate planning, and charitable projects such as trusts, foundations, and private holding and investment vehicles.

Marcel has a degree from the University of St Gallen and a doctorate degree from the University of Basel. He has an LLM from Queen Mary University of London and was a research student on Harvard Law School’s International Tax Program.
