François is a VAT Principal with 17 years of experience in Luxembourg, with an in-depth focus on VAT.
He started his career in 2007 in the International Tax Services department of PwC and moved to the VAT department in 2009 as a Senior Advisor. François worked for 11 years in the VAT practice of PwC, where he was a VAT Director. He joined TS&P in September 2020 as a VAT Director.
François advises local and multinational corporations, investment funds and financial institutions with respect to their VAT position and assists them on efficient structuring, ensuring that the VAT aspects of their strategies and operations are taken care of. François primarily assists in the fields of investments in private equity, debt and real estate, where he advises on VAT aspects through the lifetime of investments, including fund structuring, structuring of deals (acquisitions, financing, reorganisations and disposals, including VAT due diligence). He assists with respect to VAT registration and VAT compliance of Luxembourg entities, and helps with audits conducted by the Luxembourg VAT authorities.
