The tax practice is recommended for its comprehensive tax advisory services. It is experienced in assisting clients during tax audit proceedings, litigation, tax controversy, restructuring, and transactional tax matters. In addition, SSW's tax lawyers are experienced in representing clients before the tax authorities and the Polish courts. Patrycja Goździowska and Tomasz Wickel are the practice's co-heads, leading the team including partner Łukasz Karpiesiuk.

Over the course of the research, the firm created a thorough report detailing the principles of computing various sorts of income produced by persons, Polish tax residents, in connection with investments made through a foreign investment bank, Saxo Bank. Furthermore, the team assisted CITI Bank with the tax structuring (including VAT) of a complex project for the relocation of employees of a company's Ukrainian branch to Poland and the organisation of their remote work from Poland, as well as a model for settling expenses incurred by the Ukrainian company.
