PragmatIQ was established in 2010. Three partners Rafał Szymkowiak, Wojciech Kaptur, and Dominika Jaszczyk, head the Tax team consisting of 18 lawyers and tax advisors. The Polish law firm offers a full range of tax services with expertise in Transactional tax and Taxation of a corporate reorganization, Taxation of private wealth and business succession, Transfer pricing, Tax proceedings and tax disputes, Ongoing tax advice, and compliance and IP Box.

During the research period, the company supported Romgos Group, one of the major firms that realises pipeline projects that are strategically vital for Poland (including the Baltic pipe), on complicated tax issues related to transfer pricing agreements between the group's companies. Furthermore, the team advised GetResponse Group, the world's largest online marketing software for businesses and a 2022 Forbes Diamond, on the tax implications of introducing the Employee Stock Option Plan  based on subscription warrants for GetResponse's key staff.
