The Big Four full-service tax practice has experience assisting a variety of large multinational firms with inbound and outbound related tax matters. The tax team has a breadth of knowledge and experience in many industries including energy and real estate. Tax partner and leader of the tax practice, Georgi Simeonov, has more than 15 years of experience in taxation, direct and indirect. In September 2022, tax partner Alexander Cherinko joined the team from Deloitte Ukraine.   

In the third quarter of 2022, Deloitte Bulgaria carried out the tax due diligence for one the largest Bulgarian food and beverage producer on the buy-side and sell-side from its two separate independent tax teams.
