The tax department at Beretta Godoy is best known for its focus on business planning and knowing its client. The firm is well known for its natural resources and knowledge-based economy practices. Other services include domestic and international tax planning, tax-free company reorganization, mining investment regime, advice on tax compliance, transfer pricing, litigation at administrative and judicial levels, customs, and foreign exchange advisory. Mariela Sas leads the department.

During the research cycle, the team assisted Toyota Boshoku America and its Argentinean’s affiliates in structuring and implementing tax efficient earning stripping structures and in the repayment of intercompany expenditures. Additionally, the firm helped to advise on tax and legal matters and participated in an audit process aimed to generate efficiency in the tax and compliance areas.
